This course covers topics such as:
  • Newborn mortality
  • Care during labor and birth
  • Newborn care following birth – immediate and later care

as well as:

  • Infant feeding
  • Household-to-Hospital Continuum
  • Programatic aspects such as indicators, myths, and realities

This course can be taken in conjunction with the companion course Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care.
