The Global Health eLearning Center is pleased to offer this course on Fostering Change in Health Services. This course will build the skills of those who are in a position to support change agents in health service delivery. This course focuses on changes in clinical practices, behavioral practices of providers, and management practices at service delivery sites.

This course covers topics such as:
  • An effective pathway for changing and improving health care practices in developing countries
  • Eight principles for supporting a change in health care practices
  • Success factors that build local capacity and smooth the way for effective change in health care practices
  • The principles for effectively communicating change to varied audiences and generating long-term commitment throughout the process
In addition, the course will describe the steps to support a change in practices, and the process for building scale-up into the change process from the beginning.
