The Global Health eLearning Center is pleased to offer this course on Pneumonia. Pneumonia is a major killer of children under five years of age. Learners who take this course will learn what needs to be done for further reduction of this preventable disease. 

 

 This course covers topics such as:

• Pneumonia interventions in child survival programs
• Principles of pneumonia case management in children under five
• Approaches that can reduce pneumonia-related mortality

 

In addition, this course covers etiology, epidemiology, assessment and classification of this disease as well as treatment and prevention of the disease.
