Events
The third annual meeting of the Interagency Youth Working Group (IYWG) featured examples of innovative programs that address girls' vulnerability to HIV and reproductive health risks around the world. Evidence from this meeting will help inform the implementation of woman- and girl-centered approaches, a key principle in the U.S. Government's $63 billion Global Health Initiative. New Resource: Young People Most at Risk of HIV
A new report from the Interagency Youth Working Group, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) Inter-Agency Task Team on HIV and Young People, and FHI calls attention to young people ages 10–24 within the populations considered most at risk of HIV infection: young men who have sex with men, young people who sell sex, and young people who inject drugs.
